Vision Board

Ever tried making a vision board? Here is my recent creation

Vision Board

Ingrid’s Vision Board

A vision board is a collage of images, quotes and / or affirmations, used as a tool to help you to clarify and focus on specific life goals. You can use any sort of board (a cork board is good) on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.

Why have a vision board?

In this technological age when we are busier than ever with so many interesting things to do and attend it’s easy to get distracted and lose focus on our goals. So a vision board can help to :

  • Identify your goals and give them clarity.
  • Reinforce daily affirmations.
  • Keep you focused on your priorities
  • Help to overcome self limiting beliefs

By displaying your vision board in a prominent place where you can see it, helps to reinforce your aspirations.  Visualising your goals and dreams can help to make them a reality. The vision board can include words of wisdom, phrases and inspirational quotes as well as photographs.

Reaching you on both conscious and subconscious levels, a vision board can work wonders keeping your mind focused on your goals and keep you headed in the direction you choose.

The South West Women’s Health & Information centre recently held a vision board workshop and these can be viewed on their website http://www.swwhic.com.au/

  1. Awesome idea and it really keeps us focussed on our goals and dreams. Love your vision board Ingrid. It just feels so bright and vivid and full of energy. Ps don’t forget to link to Pilgrimage Patter from this blog and vice versa. Why not add a new page at the top with the direct link?

  2. Great idea Ingrid. I think I should have one of these too – especially I should be trying to eat more healthy and get fit. It is a good idea to stay focused on ones goals instead of just floating where the wind blows. I see you have “publish your book” on your board – I will look forward to reading it in print!
