Artists and friends gathered at the Lighthouse Beach Resort on Tuesday, where Art Partners hosted an end of year morning tea. The event showcased works of art by Art Partner artists and partners where they were acknowledged for their achievements and creative works and presented with awards.
Above are a couple of pics from the morning, featuring Wanda and artists, including myself with art colleague Beryl.
The event was hosted by Wanda Ariano, the proactive coordinator of Art Partners, an inclusive mentorship program connecting art partnerships with the wider community.
During the morning Wanda read out many supportive and inspirational messages people had sent in during the year. Art Partners and the Stirling Street Art centre
Many of the artist’s stories are featured on the ABC Open website, which Wanda organised during the year. They are real stories about real people in regional Australia and you can see them by visiting: https://open.abc.net.au/explore/104980
There is even one about moi and my love of art and being part of the Stirling Street Arts centre.Check it out – you can also read many other interesting stories there on the site.

on each occasion. Love Glenda
Hi Glenda
It’s been a flurry of events just lately – everything gets squeezed in before Christmas.
Good to hear from you Ingrid
Fantastic that you went along to the event Ingrid, and that you’re supportive of such a worthy organisation. Wanda is amazing … it’s been awesome watching Art Partners grow over the last few years. I really enjoyed your interview too on the ABC Open Website 🙂
Thanks Jo – yes a great organisation going from strength to strength.
