 Gourmet Escape

In November I visited Margaret River on the Gourmet Escape weekend – a festival of food and wine. The heart of the festival is always in the Gourmet Village, hosted at Leeuwin Estate winery.  A bus load of us travelled down so we could safely partake in  a few tastings naturally!

Culinary superstars including Matt Moran , Rick Stein Matt Preston and Adriano Zumbo were there sharing their knowledge and expertise …                                                                                     Events at the festival on the Saturday included food photography classes, interactive food masterclasses, fermenting workshops and wine tasting in in the tasting lounge .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    … and Justin Beaver was there … maybe not the real Justin Beaver but a beaver none the less a Justin Beaver
